As you know, we’ve partnered with The Bronx Museum along with BronxMama and The Bronx Socialite to engage our fellow Bronxites in choosing a name for a new cafe that will operate at The Bronx Museum. The bonus? It will be serving Morris Perk’s Bronx Blend which our borough has fallen in love with over the past year with proprietor, Lovie Pignata’s Morris Perk Pop-Ups across every type of business, organization and corner of our wonderful borough.

Kicking off the 16th Annual Havana Film Festival in New York, The Bronx Museum will host a screening of Rumba Clave Blen Blen Blen, followed by a special performance by Dayramir Gonzalez & Habana enTrance. Music by DJ Asho. By paying homage to the grand masters of the genre, Rumba Clave Blen Blen Blen takes us on a historical journey that traces the history of rumba in New York.

Join Bx200 tomorrow at The Bronx Museum of the Arts from 6pm – 9pm as they hold their official launch of their directory of Bronx artists. The evening will be a fun celebration of the Arts in The Bronx as the group will have a slideshow from our wonderful, artistic community and John “Crash” Matos of WallworksNY will be on hand as a guest speaker.
Oh and did we mention that Morris Perk will be on hand providing their amazing coffee?
One of New York City’s premier art shows, The New York Armory Show, will be having a Bronx Day in conjunction with The Bronx Arts Alliance at The Bronx Museum of the Arts. Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, March 4th from 4PM – 8PM you can view this 4 day exhibition covering a wide variety of mediums and disciplines as well as programming for all ages.
New York City Department of Immigrant Affairs along with NYC Department of Health have teamed up to give the community the REAL facts on Ebola as well as let the community ask questions and share their concerns.
The event will run tonight, Wednesday October 29th, from 6PM – 8PM and will be hosted at The Bronx Museum of The Arts located at:

NYC & Company, New York City’s marketing and tourism agency has selected the screening of El Barrio Tours: Gentrification in East Harlem as one of the ‘Things To Do’ for the week of June 11th – June 17th. The screening, followed by a panel discussion on gentrification and as it pertains to the Bronx. The event is free and open to the public and is hosted by the film’s creator, Andrew Padilla and Welcome2TheBronx at The Bronx Museum of the Arts this Friday, June 13th from 6:30PM to 9PM.
