300 High School Students Stand ‘For Epic Impact’ At 6th Annual Monroe College Male Empowerment Seminar

Inspired by keynotes from renowned author, educator, and TV commentator Dr. Steve Perry and special guest WCBS-TV news anchor Maurice Dubois, as well as remarks from achieving freshmen from the Monroe College Empowerment Institute (EI), more than three-hundred high school boys left the college’s sixth annual male empowerment seminar with a renewed sense of resolve and purpose.

Monroe College is but one of the many institutions of higher learning in the Borough of Colleges and Universities that is The Bronx. It is one of the most accessible to many of our residents and not only does Monroe provide quality education and training but the school helps each and every student every step of the way in preparing them for their future.

But Monroe College doesn’t just help its own, it also helps the community and our youth and one of such ways was yesterday’s Inspire to Aspire Female Empowerment for High School students which was attended by hundreds of young girls along with WABC-TV news anchor Sade Baderinwa who delivered the keynote speech.

Nursing Program At Bronx Community College Listed #1 In The State

Congratulations to Bronx Community College an its LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Program which just recently made the #1 program of its kind in the entire state of New York according to Practical Nursing.

Also worth mentioning is that Monroe College also made the top ten list and that NO OTHER NYC BOROUGH made it on that list!
