Bombayo Presents: 6th Annual BomBarBecue This Sunday 5/25

Come to the Andrew Freedman Home this Sunday from Noon to 6pm and enjoy a wonderful afternoon with Bombayo. There will be traditional bomba dancing and music and much more!

Bronx Poetry event at The Historical Freedman Home

The Bronx is Poetry! that is why I am beyond excited to announce an Open Mic and Chapter book release on April 24th , that will be held in the Bronx at the historical Andrew Freedman home located at 1125 Grand Concourse (Corner of McClellan street) from 7-10pm. Free admittance, $5.00 suggested donation.

Several weeks ago I had the pleasure of receiving an invitation to Daniel Hauben’s opening reception at the Andrew Freedman home for his latest exhibition: Expanding Views: The Art of Daniel Hauben.

The exhibition is quite breathtaking as I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing his works up close. The paintings capture the essence of the Bronx so clearly that it is no wonder why Bronx Community College commissioned 22 paintings by Hauben for their new North Hall and Library.
