The clock is ticking and time is running out to apply for the newest (and tallest) building on the Grand Concourse providing spectacular views of The Bronx and Manhattan and plenty of river views.

425 Grand Concourse, located at the site of the former landmarked and now demolished PS 31 AKA Castle on the Concourse, rises 26 stories on The Bronx’s most famous street and contains 277 units of permanently affordable housing.

The building features a wide-range of amenities available to all income levels from the lowest (which is actually accessible to the existing, local community) to the highest.

Some of these amenities are: bike storage lockers, a gym for residents, energy-efficient appliances including a dishwasher in each unit. There is also a shared laundry room as well as a community center and an outdoor terrace offering gorgeous views of the city including our beloved Bronx.

How to Apply

Remember, you can only apply ONCE and you may not apply both online and by mail. Applying more than once can and will disqualify you according to the lottery rules.

5% of units are set aside for individuals with mobility issues and 2% for those with vision and/or hearing impairments. 50% preference for residents of Community Board 1 (to see which community board you live in, click here), and 5% for New York City employees.
