Today on one of our many excursions with The Bronx’s culinary ambassador, Baron Ambrosia, we were joined with La Bruja, aka Caridad De La Luz, The Bronx born and raised spoken word artist, actress and multifaceted performance artist, as we explored our borough—from beneath.

Watch and listen to the dulcet tones of this amazing woman who’s an inspiration to so many. Back in May, she was the host for Bronx Fashion Week at the Old Bronx Borough Courthouse during No Longer Empty’s residency there and this coming September, La Bruja will once again co-host Bronx Fashion Week with Baron Ambrosia in collaboration with Eat nYC for The Bronx’s first ever food and wine festival to combat hunger.
